The Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellowship

Each year The Health Foundation sponsors up to four senior clinically qualified NHS professionals who have a track record of achievement in quality improvement.

Fellows spend a fully funded year at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in the United States, where they carry out research in a chosen area of healthcare improvement.

• Allowance of up to £25,000.
• Sponsor covers the cost of employing replacement staff during the year of study.
• Applicants must have the support of their employing organisation as their salary and benefits will still be covered by their employer during the fellowship.
