Get involved
We are putting our patients at the centre of what we do. We want to learn from our patients, and their families and friends, about their experiences of King’s and involve them as we plan service improvements. There are lots of opportunities to get involved, share feedback, and shape our plans.
Would you like to support the work we do? Here are ways you can be involved:
- sign up to receive news from us
- share your advice or give your views by email, phone or coming to occasional meetings or events
- join us to support our quality improvement work as a patient partner
- help recruit our cancer service staff
- tell us what we should look for in new staff
- join us when we interview new staff for the programme
- support other cancer patients and families as a volunteer
- meet and greet and chat to patients and families in the King’s Macmillan Information and Support Centre or in some of our clinics
- support patients and families to complete survey or questionnaire
If you are interested in any of the opportunities to improve cancer care at King’s, or would like to know more about how to get involved, please contact the King’s Macmillan Information and Support Centre on 020 3299 5228 or email [email protected]
