Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists help people of all ages to carry out everyday activities. Based within the Therapies team, the Occupational Therapy (OT) department has over 120 staff providing inpatient and outpatient services across a wide and diverse range of specialties at King’s College Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital and Orpington Hospital.

Our OTs are part of a dynamic, innovative therapy department which is directed by the Chief of Therapies, with clinical leadership from professional Heads of Service. Our clinical leads are experts in their fields, with a track record of leading teams and transforming patient care. With strong research links, we are also equipped for large scale research trials.
