Smoke-free King’s

King’s College Hospital is a smoke-free hospital. Patients should expect to be asked about their smoking by clinical staff and to be offered support.

For inpatients we offer evidence-based treatment for smoking including the full range of nicotine replacement therapies and other prescribed medications. Staff are not permitted to take patients off the ward to smoke, and use of e-cigarettes by patients is not permitted in the hospital or in our grounds.

Visitors are permitted to use e-cigarettes in outside areas.
