Shops and cafes

We have a number of shops and cafes across the main King’s College Hospital site. You can buy gifts, toys, books, newspapers and magazines plus a wide range of food, including sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, savoury and sweet snacks, as well as hot and cold drinks.

Cheyne Wing

Hospital Shop with Friends of King’s – ground floor

Sells gifts, toys and cards.

Opening times: 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Marks and Spencer Simply Food – ground floor, Cheyne Wing entrance

Sells food to go and take-home meals including salads, fruit and fresh produce. An in-store bakery sells freshly baked products and serves coffee.

Opening times: 7am to 9pm, 7 days a week

The Baguette Co. – next to Marks and Spencer

Sells freshly made baguettes (hot and cold), drinks, snacks and Costa Coffee.

Opening times: 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm weekends

Golden Jubilee Wing

Costa Coffee Shop – transport and discharge lounge, opposite reception, ground floor

Serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit and other snacks.

Opening times: 7.30am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm weekends and bank holidays

Hambleden Wing

Costa Coffee Shop – main corridor, ground floor

Serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit and other snacks.

Opening times: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Serves a wide range of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit and other snacks.

Opening times: 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
