Governor Elections 2026

The 2026 Council of Governors election voting closed at 5pm on 26 January 2026*. Results of the election will be announced in due course.

Our Council of Governors helps to ensure that our key stakeholders – including patients, members of the public, staff, and partner organisations – have a say in shaping their local health service.

This year, elections have been held for the following vacancies:

  • Patient Governors – 2 vacancies
  • Public Governors – 3 Bromley vacancies, 1 Lambeth vacancy, 1 South East London (SEL) System vacancy, 1 Southwark vacancy
  • Staff Governors – 1 Allied Health Professionals, Scientific and Technical vacancy, 1 Medical and Dental vacancy, 1 Nurses and Midwives vacancy

*This deadline has been extended for Allied Health Professionals, Scientific and Technical staff at the Trust who did not initially receive the voting email. This was due to an admin error which has now been resolved.
