Governor Elections 2026
The 2026 Council of Governors election is now open. Foundation Trust Members and our staff have until 5pm on 26 January 2026 to cast their vote.
Our Council of Governors helps to ensure that our key stakeholders – including patients, members of the public, staff, and partner organisations – have a say in shaping their local health service.
This year, elections are being held for the following vacancies:
- Patient Governors – 2 vacancies
- Public Governors – 3 Bromley vacancies, 1 Lambeth vacancy, 1 South East London (SEL) System vacancy, 1 Southwark vacancy
- Staff Governors – 1 Allied Health Professionals, Scientific and Technical vacancy, 1 Medical and Dental vacancy, 1 Nurses and Midwives vacancy
If you are eligible to vote, you should receive an email on 6 January 2026 marked: ‘King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust – Election to the Council of Governors’.
