Financial support
Living with a cancer diagnosis can have a significant impact on your financial situation. Your income may be reduced if you need to stop working or work less. Your spending may increase due to covering additional costs such as travel to and from hospital and higher heating bills.
The Macmillan Information and Support Centre can help you to identify and access the benefits and financial support you are entitled to.
Our support includes a specialist benefits advice service which is available, by appointment, at both our King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital sites. The sessions are held either over the phone or face-to-face.
