Our charities

Although hospitals are funded by the government through the NHS, there is always a need for extra money to provide an even better service to patients. King’s would not be one of the top teaching hospitals in the UK if it were not for the generous donations we have received over the years.

We want to continue to improve patient care through research, training and advanced medical developments and facilities. We can only do this with your help. Your support will help to keep providing our patients with world-class healthcare.

• King’s College Hospital Charity, which organises events nationwide to raise funds for the Trust.
  

Friends of King's College Hospital

• Friends of King’s, whose services and volunteer helpers make a real difference to all the patients, staff and visitors at the hospital.
  

We also receive backing from a number of partner charities, whose generous donations help us to provide state-of-the-art equipment as well as supporting many of our important research projects.

All our charities welcome your contribution. Whether you take part in fundraising events, make a donation or offer practical help in your spare time and become of a volunteer helper, you can be sure that your time, skills or money will be put to good use by the Trust.
