What we do

King’s viral hepatitis service is the largest specialist treatment centre for the condition in the UK. We offer high quality, state-of-the-art treatment for viral hepatitis B and C patients as well as those also infected (co-infected) with hepatitis D (HDV) and the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Whenever possible, this includes treatments that have high cure rates and few side effects.

We hold weekly viral hepatitis clinics in Liver Outpatients, led by specialist liver doctors and clinical nurse specialists.

Many of our patients take part in clinical trials to increase the chances of successful treatment. We also have our own laboratory to help assess your condition and provide you with the best treatment.
