Maternity voices
Maternity Voices Partnership
Make a difference: join the King’s Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP). You can help us improve maternity services for parents and babies at King’s College Hospital by sharing your experience and ideas.
The King’s MVP is a group that includes expectant and new parents, midwives, doctors and doulas. Anyone who has had a baby at King’s College Hospital or with King’s home birth teams in the past five years is welcome to join. We meet regularly online and in person at King’s and in the community. Please check the King’s MVP Facebook page for meeting details.
We are keen to reflect the diverse community that we serve and welcome members from all backgrounds. We provide refreshments and can help with some travel costs and childcare expenses. Babies and toddlers are welcome.
If you cannot make our meetings, we would still like to hear from you. You can give feedback to us in the following ways:
- email us on [email protected]
- reach out on our Facebook or Twitter pages
- talk to us when we ‘walk the patch’ on the wards or at our outreach visits
We use your feedback to directly inform and influence developments in maternity care.
Friends and family feedback
You can tell us what you did and didn’t like about your care by completing the Friends and Family feedback form, it only takes a couple of minutes, and you can comment on your antenatal, birth and postnatal ward or postnatal community care.
PALS
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a service that offers support, information and assistance to patients, relatives and visitors. They can also provide help and advice if you have a concern or complaint that staff have not been able to resolve for you.
