Vaccinations in pregnancy

Vaccinations during pregnancy help protect both you and your baby from serious infectious diseases.

We recommend that all pregnant women and birthing people are offered the whooping cough (pertussis), RSV and seasonal flu vaccines at the appropriate stage of pregnancy. These vaccines are safe, effective and provide important protection for your baby in the first weeks and months of life.

Speak to your maternity team about vaccines.
