We provide dental care, including surgery, for children aged 15 years and under:

  • with any complex medical, physical and/or behavioural disability
  • who have or had trauma injuries both to their baby or adult teeth
  • who have problems with how their teeth are developing
  • who have gum disease as part of a medical or syndromic condition
  • who have any pathology of their mouth and face

We do not accept walk-in patients to our dental service.

Urgent referrals from dental practices should be made via the Southeast London Paediatric Dentistry referral form below which will be triaged by the Community Dental Service.

  • If your child has pain or has a facial swelling, please call NHS 111 and ask to be directed to dental triage.
  • If your child has suffered from dental trauma within the last 72 hours that has not been seen by an emergency dentist or has a complex medical condition that requires specialist hospital care, please call 020 3299 3052 between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), where you will be triaged by a dentist to determine if an appointment is needed at our department.

Please note not all referrals will be accepted and you may be redirected to primary care services (111 and dental triage or your local dentist).
