Inside King’s is our new magazine for staff and patients, where you can find out more about what is happening across our hospitals.

In our first edition of Inside King’s – published this month (July 2022) – you will find features on the groundbreaking work of our staff, and learn about the positive outcomes for patients who have been treated at King’s.

Inside the first issue of Inside King’s we talked to 28-year-old Ronke Dosumu, who is now living pain free following stem cell transplant to treat sickle cell disease. We also look at how a £60 million investment in our hospital estate is taking shape, with new buildings under construction across the Trust.

We also catch up with a group of young people with learning difficulties who have gained valuable work experience at King’s, some of whom have since landed permanent jobs here.

Elsewhere in the magazine, you can read about the pioneering work of our neurosurgeons in mapping areas of the brain, how work is being undertaken to tackle the surgery backlog, and we hear from a staff member who has shared her experiences of working with trauma patients.
