Paediatric neurology

What we do

We specialise in diagnosing and treating children with epilepsy, head injuries and other brain and spinal conditions.

We run the Regional Epilepsy Service and the Children’s Head Injury Service, and work closely with the Belgrave Department of Child and Family Psychiatry and our colleagues in Neuropsychology, to care for patients who have suffered brain damage.

We are also the South East Thames centre for paediatric (children’s) neurosciences in collaboration with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Our facilities include Lion Ward, a 10-bed, purpose-built neurosurgical (brain and spine surgery) unit.
