Paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition

What we do

We are a national referral centre for children with pancreas and bowel problems and specialise in treating gastrointestinal disorders.

Our paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition service looks after children and babies with poor weight gain, weight loss, feeding difficulties, chronic (continual) vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea and bleeding from their bottom. We also treat conditions such as coeliac disease, food allergies, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, pancreatitis and intestinal failure.

We offer a range of investigations to help with diagnosis including endoscopy (camera test), pH studies, breath tests and enteroscopy.

We also run a special clinic to help children with feeding problems.

For appointment enquiries, please contact Paediatric (Children’s) Outpatients on 020 3299 3560.
