Biography

Dr Ian Webb qualified in Medicine from Oxford University in 2000, during which time he was awarded an MA (1st class honours) in Physiology and Pharmacology. He undertook postgraduate training in Medicine and Cardiology in London and the South East, before obtaining a British Heart Foundation research scholarship to study at King’s College London. He was awarded his PhD thesis in molecular cardiology from the University of London in 2010.

He subsequently undertook training in Interventional and Structural Heart Cardiology at Guy’s and St Thomas’, and King’s College Hospitals. During this time he was awarded a Boston Scientific Interventional Fellowship to the Wellington Heart Centre in New Zealand. He was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at King’s College Hospital in 2014.
