Biography

Dr Castell qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Hospital in 1996.
Intercalated BSc in Basic Medical Science and Biochemistry 1993 (Upper second).
MRCP 2001
FRCR 2005.
MA in Health Care Ethics and Law 2011(University of Manchester).
General medical training in London.

Dr Castell shares the Breast Cancer practice at King’s with Dr A Rigg and is the lead clinician for acute oncology, responsible for developing the service. Together with other oncology consultant colleagues and a team of two acute oncology CNSs and two fellows, she provides an assessment and an advisory service for the King’s oncology patients.

She is also a senior clinical advisor for the South East London and Kent Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression service.
