Biography

Devi Subramanian has been a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital since 2008. She was awarded membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2002, and fellowship (FRCOG) in 2014. She undertook her entire specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London and was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2008.

Devi is currently the Clinical Director and lead for Maternity. She is also lead for surgical management of morbidly adherent placenta and postdates pregnancy, and obstetric lead for venous thrombo-embolism in pregnancy. She specialises in high-risk obstetrics and intrapartum care. She has a particular interest in the management of obese women in pregnancy. She runs a whole day Fetal Medicine clinic at Lewisham Hospital, and is actively involved in teaching and training, especially simulation training.
