The Trust has been shortlisted in the following categories:

The Trust has been recognised for a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, delivering sustainable care, and to delivering high-quality education and training to staff.

In addition, Kylie Nadon, Career Schemes Co-ordinator at King’s, has been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award and apprentices Halima Ahmad, Learning and Organisational Apprentice in Learning & Organisational Development; Melvyna Ketharuth, Apprentice Admission Assistant in Neuro Admissions; and Suliaman Ishaque, Apprentice MDT Assistant in Neuro Admissions have been shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year award.

Kylie has been shortlisted for her work developing one of the most robust NHS work experience programmes in London, which has seen nearly 350 students undertake work experience at the Trust.

Kylie said of being shortlisted:

“I am very grateful. Professionally, this nomination will hopefully further promote the programme internally to attract colleagues who share my desire to inspire and support our local young people in achieving their healthcare career ambitions. Personally, it is heart-warming having this opportunity to reflect on the successes of the bright young people and passionate mentors involved.”

The BeLambeth award winners are decided by a public vote, and members of the public have until 5pm on Wednesday 17 July to cast their vote. Find out information about all the voting categories and vote for Team King’s.
