No trains stopping at Denmark Hill this Easter bank holiday weekend

28 March 2024 - Engineering works are taking place from Friday 29 March to Monday 1 April

Engineering works are taking place this weekend (29 March to 1 April). As a result, no trains will stop at Denmark Hill railway station over the entire Easter bank holiday weekend.

This affects South Eastern, Thameslink, and London Overground networks. A rail replacement bus service will cover most affected routes to and from the station, but journeys are expected to take longer.

Denmark Hill is the main railway station serving King’s College Hospital, so this weekend’s engineering works may affect the journeys of patients and relatives travelling to King’s.

We would urge patients and relatives to plan their journey in advance, and use the National Rail website to identify alternative ways of getting to and from the hospital.

Industrial action affecting rail and underground services is also taking place from Thursday 4 April to Tuesday 9 April, so please check your journey when travelling to the hospital.
