01 February 2022 - Every month, a different member of staff will be our #NewProfilePic on social media.

Our new staff profile for February 2022 is Caroline Mpita, our Corporate Practice Development Nurse, at the PRUH. Caroline has worked at King’s for 7.5 years! She said: “I enjoy the diverse culture within King’s that allows staff to flourish.”

“My role is exceptional as it allows me to impart the 20 years of knowledge that I have to other staff for the benefit of improving patient experiences, and better outcomes for the patients.

“I’ve had many special moments, but the most significant for me is when a former patient I once looked after, who had been given a poor prognosis, walked into the department to thank the staff for the care they received, allowing them to make a full recovery.

“I enjoy my job because I have the privilege of supporting and developing staff to make a positive impact on the quality of care our patients receive.”
