New Collaborators Hub opens at King’s
28 April 2026 - King’s College Hospital Trust opens two dedicated areas within hospital grounds for patient feedback
On Monday 27 April, the Patient Services, Experience and Involvement Team at King’s launched the King’s Collaborators Hub – an online platform and two hospital spaces – to better connect with its patients, their families and carers, and people from local communities.
The service will run a series of events, focus groups, and talks, available online or in person, all aimed at helping improve services across our hospitals. Hospital hubs are also available on site throughout the week at King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) for anyone to drop in.
The King’s Collaborators Hub officially opened on the first day of Experience of Care Week (27- April – 1 May 2026), an international initiative celebrating the work that is happening across the health sector to keep improving experiences of care.
Karen Taylor, Head of Patient Services, Experience and Involvement at King’s, said: “We want to make sure that everyone has a chance to shape the care they receive at King’s. Whether you have an idea about how we can make improvements, an interest in a particular service we provide, or would like to be more involved with the work of the Trust, your views will help shape our future.”
Tracey Carter, Chief Nurse and Executive Director of Midwifery at King’s, added: “We always welcome feedback on what is working well or what we could be doing better, and our new Collaborators Hub is a space where every patient, carer, and family member will feel heard, respected, and valued. Every voice counts, and the insights we gain from the Hub will help make a big difference to our patients in the future.”
The Hubs at King’s College Hospital and PRUH are open from Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 4.00pm. Find out more about joining the King’s Collaborators Hub here.
