End-stage liver disease is when your liver is damaged beyond repair due to chronic liver disease or acute liver failure. There are many different causes.
Dr Deepak Joshi, Consultant Hepatologist at King’s, said: It’s really brave that Sam has chosen to use his platform to raise awareness about liver health and the importance of organ donation. The documentary gives insights into the reality of being active on the liver transplant waiting list in the UK today.”
