Filming and photography

As a major teaching hospital Trust, we receive many requests to film and photograph on our premises.

We cannot accommodate all requests and reserve the right to decline these if they interfere with the day-to-day running of our hospitals, our duty to respect patient and staff confidentiality, or are not aligned with the interests of the Trust, and the work of our teams.

We may also decline requests which are made at short notice.

Documentaries

If you are a production company looking to make a documentary and would like to feature the work of King’s please contact us with all relevant details.

Please note, we cannot usually accommodate requests if the production has not been commissioned.

Filming and photography at our hospitals

Film crews and photographers must be accompanied by a member of King’s staff at all times.

Infection control procedures must be adhered to and filming personnel must be kept to a minimum to avoid interference with clinical work.

Any patients or staff who agree to be filmed must provide signed consent.

Location filming

We cannot facilitate location requests or requests to film or photograph general shots of the hospital and/or ‘pieces to camera’ that do not directly relate to the work of the Trust.
