1 million people now use MyChart as part of their care

11 August 2026 - More than 1 million people are now using MyChart at King's College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trusts

MyChart is our secure app that gives patients, family members and carers convenient access to information and services in one place. Depending on the services they use, people using the app can view appointments, read hospital letters, access test results, complete questionnaires and manage aspects of their care online.

The milestone reflects the growing demand for digital healthcare services that are simple, convenient and available when patients need them. Patients now log in to MyChart more than 1 million times every month, using it to stay informed and involved in their care.

Since January 2024:

  • more than 15 million test results have been shared with patients through MyChart
  • more than 57,000 appointments have been self-scheduled by patients
  • more than 94,000 missed appointments have been avoided among MyChart users

MyChart is an important part of our wider digital transformation programme, helping patients access information more easily while supporting more efficient healthcare services.
