Bessemer Road and Caldecot Road: notice of temporary closure

07 April 2026 - Temporary closure and traffic management from 10 to 12 April

If you are planning to visit our King’s College Hospital site, please be aware that Caldecot Road and Bessemer Road outside the Golden Jubilee Wing will be closed between 10pm on Friday 10 April until 6am on Saturday 11 April and from 10pm on Saturday 11 April until 4am on Sunday 12 April to allow for maintenance work to take place.

The roads will be open as normal between 6am to 10pm on Saturday 11 April, and traffic management will be in place to help with the flow of traffic.

During the times when the roads are closed, diversions will be in place down Venetian Road.

Please note that the entrances to the Dental Institute, the Day Surgery Unit (DSU), and the Emergency Department will remain open during the maintenance period.
