Biography

Adjoa Appiah undertook her medical degree from Cambridge University and prior to this graduated with a first class degree from King’s College London in Biomedical Science (Neuroscience).

She has a varied job plan which covers much of the range of services provided in women’s health, such as acute and elective obstetric and gynaecological work; support for both benign and oncological gynaecology services in the form of one stop clinic, and day surgery. She is a core member of the local oncology MDM team and chairs the benign gynaecology multi-disciplinary team (MDT).

In her extended roles, she has been responsible for leading postgraduate training as College Tutor and is currently the cross-site Lead for Obstetric Risk.
