Fertility patients
King’s College Hospital has been at the forefront of fertility treatment for more than 30 years. On 1 November 2017, our fertility service transferred to King’s Fertility; a partnership between King’s College Hospital and the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF). The FMF is a charity and global pioneer in the field of fetal medicine, that aims to improve the health of pregnant women and their babies.
People who started fertility treatment with King’s College Hospital before 1 November 2017 will continue to be seen by the same team of clinicians, and will see no change to their treatment.
Funding and treatment criteria has not changed; it is set by local NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
