Each year our Chaplaincy Team hold a children’s and babies memorial service for the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) at All Saint’s Church, Orpington, in October, and for King’s College Hospital at St Luke's Chapel on the Denmark Hill site in December. We also hold an annual memorial service for adults at King's College Hospital in November.
Adult memorial services
A memorial service will be live streamed on Saturday 7 November 2020 for adults who have died at King’s College Hospital, Princess Royal University Hospital and Orpington Hospital. The link will be published on this website along with the Order of Service.
Relatives and members of the public are therefore advised not to turn up to the hospitals as there will be no entry to the Chapels due to social distancing.
We recognize that the extraordinary circumstances of someone dying during the pandemic may create challenges for relatives, partners and friends. King’s College Hospital Charity has helped set up a Bereavement Service that offers free telephone and face-to face support. This service is delivered in partnership with St Christopher’s. Please ring our confidential helpline on 020 8768 4599 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more. Information is also available on the Charity’s website: www.supportkings.org.uk.
