26 July 2017 - The Minister of State for Health visited King’s College Hospital on 20 July for the donation of £500,000 from the County Air Ambulance Trust

Philip Dunne MP, Minister of State for Health, visited King’s College Hospital primarily to see the helipad and join the County Air Ambulance Trust HELP Appeal in presenting a donation of £500,000 to the Trust to support the helipad.

During his visit to the helipad, Mr Dunne met with Dr Malcolm Tunnicliff, Clinical Director for Emergency Medicine, Shelley Dolan, Chief Nurse, and Mr Robert Bentley, Clinical Director for Emergency and Trauma surgery.

He was also shown around the Emergency Department, where he met with Jane Farrell, Chief Operating Officer, as well as meeting with Lord Kerslake, Chairman, and speaking to Jen Watson, the Trust Speak Up Guardian.
