Muslim staff members at King's College Hospital, in association with the Chaplaincy of King’s, warmly invite staff and patients to the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.

This festival marks the end of the Ramadan fast and it is traditional for the whole community to gather in for Eid celebration. It is also a time for visiting family and friends, for good food, new clothes and presents for children.

The afternoon will feature a Virtues of Fasting exhibition on Islamic culture. There will be posters on calligraphic art, images from the Islamic world, a section with traditional sweets, a display of books and leaflets.

There will also be information about multi-culture and religious care in nursing, organ donation, volunteering and spiritual care.

Free food and refreshments will be available from 12.15pm.
