06 April 2017 - On Monday 24 April, some Outpatient Clinics will be moving from the Golden Jubilee Wing to the new Venetian building located close by

King's arch infront of Golden Jubilee Wing

On Monday 24 April, the following King’s College Hospital Outpatient Clinics will be moving from Suite 3 in the Golden Jubilee Wing into the new Venetian building.

  • Diabetes
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Gastroenterology
  • Most Endocrinology
  • Some Respiratory

Most Endocrinology and some respiratory clinics will be relocating to the new Venetian building, whilst some will remain in Suite 3. Patients will be informed if their clinic is moving.

The new building is located within the King’s College Hospital site, a short walk from the Golden Jubilee Wing, on the corner of Caldecot Road and Venetian Road, which is opposite the Day Surgery building.

Increased demand for our emergency services means we require more space to care for patients who require urgent treatment. As a result, we are making changes to our Emergency Department to improve the experience of all patients who need to visit – from the most critically unwell to those with non-life threatening conditions, as well as additional facilities for emergency patients with mental health needs.

To make way for the new, larger and improved Emergency Department we have to move some of the Outpatient clinics in the Golden Jubilee Wing to other nearby on-site locations.

Our priority is to provide the best possible care for all our patients and we appreciate your cooperation and patience as we carry out this move.
