100 years of spiritual care at King's

19 September 2013 - Join us Wednesday 25 September as the Bishop of Woolwich leads a service marking the 100th anniversary of the consecration of Saint Luke’s Chapel.

We are marking this milestone in King’s rich history with several activities in the evening.

Location: in various locations at King’ College Hospital, Denmark Hill, Camberwell, SE5 9RS
Date & times: Wednesday 25 September, 2013

  • 5pm: A service of celebration and thanksgiving
    Saint Luke’s Chapel, first floor, Cheyne Wing
    Service to be lead by Right Reverend Dr Michael Ipgrave OBE, Anglican Bishop of Woolwich.
  • 6pm: Reception
    Boardroom, ground floor, Hambleden Wing
  • 7pm: Lecture: “Wellness or Wholeness: the importance of spiritual care”
    Gainsford Lecture Theatre, first floor, Weston Education Centre
    The Reverend Dr Peter Speck, Honorary Senior Lecturer, King's College London (Palliative Care, Policy & Rehabilitation) will be speaking.
