We are extremely proud of the work we do at King’s and we would like you to feel that you are involved with your local hospital. At the King’s Open Day you will have a chance to check out our clinical services as well as meet some of our staff featured in the Channel 4 series 24 Hours in A&E.
The King's Open Day will host a variety of activities:
- health checks, such as monitoring your blood pressure
- interactive demonstrations about the heart, brain, skin, day surgery, teeth, liver and more
- free face painting
- live music
- a bouncy castle
- a teddy bear hospital
- a mini King’s Olympics
- and a host of fundraising events including a sponsored abseil down the Golden Jubilee Wing in aid of the King’s College Hospital Charity (for more details about fees, etc and to register in advance, please visit the together we can website).
The day’s activities will also include an opportunity to find out about careers at King’s, and how you can make your own contribution to the hospital.
There will be lots to see and do, so come and find out what’s happening on your doorstep.
