What you will learn from this course

  • Increased knowledge of MSM health needs, with particular reference to sexual health, and the legislative context for delivering interventions which respond to MSM health needs
  • Recognition of the impact of homophobia on lesbian, gay and bisexual people and how this impacts on health
  • Exploration and understanding of language, terminology and communication skills related to MSM identities and sexual practices
  • Improved skills around discussing MSM health needs in the clinical setting with patients/service users
