Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder

This one-day seminar "Delivering occupation-centred practice: with the emphasis on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder " is aimed at allied health professionals working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
The day consists of two components – a focus on the principles and real-world delivery of occupational centred practice and goal setting, followed by presentations of a clinical reasoning framework for the use of sensory based interventions for children with autism spectrum disorders.
The seminar will cover:
• Occupation-centred practice with children
• Clinical reasoning framework regarding sensory interventions for children with ASD including sleep strategies
• Tools for collaborative goal setting with children.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the day.
