Camberwell Sexual Health Touch Screen

The new Camberwell Sexual Health Centre provides a walk-in service with easy access to a wide range of sexual health services for men and women in a setting that is bright, modern and welcoming. It has also extended opening hours to include evenings.

 

What we do

We are committed to providing a friendly, confidential and accessible service to men and women that includes:

 

  • Sexual health information
  • A wide range of contraceptive methods
  • Emergency contraception
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Information and referral for abortion
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • HIV testing
  • Sexual health examinations
  • Free condoms for men and women

 

In addition to our walk-in services, we also provide appointment clinics for clients with more complex needs.  Normally these appointments are made following a referral by a GP or one of our doctors.

The centre is located at Camberwell Sexual Health Centre,  100 Denmark Hill, SE5 9RS.

 

Opening times

 

Please note due to high demand of our services occasionally we have to close earlier than our advertised times, please ring 0203 299 5000 before attending the service to advise clinic opening status.

 

Monday 9.00am - 7.30pm
Tuesday 9.00am - 7.30pm
Wednesday 1.00pm - 7.30pm
Thursday 9.00am  -7.30pm
Friday 9.00am - 7.30pm
 

The services provided at the Camberwell Sexual Health Centre include testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, a full range of contraception including emergency contraception pregnancy testing and referrals for termination of pregnancy and Post Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV (PEPSE).

 


 

What to expect at your visit

Using our new touch screens you can register yourself when you arrive and indicate your reason(s) for your visit - all without going to the receptionist. You will be automatically be placed in a queue to see someone and our registration kiosks will give you a ticket with a number on it.

 

The centre also provides access to multi-media information resources. There are numerous information kiosks for you to browse websites with sexual health information and advice.

 

Self-service

If you just need condoms, pregnancy tests or a chlamydia and gonorrhoea test you may not see a nurse or doctor. Instead, you can collect condoms and testing kits free from our new self-service vending machine. Tokens are dispensed at the registration kiosk.

 

Our client support workers, dressed in black t-shirts with "Ask me" written on the back, are available if you need any help in registering or using the vending machine.
